Let's Chat about Colors!
We're asked all the time what colors are 'right' and for what magical purpose.
Here's a handy chart...
These color correspondences are general guidelines. Follow your gut, your intuition, when selecting colors for your workings, or even for your home decor.
Remember the duality in everything we do. Red stands for Love, Passion, etc, but it also stands for Rage and Anger. Determine what each color means to YOU - personally. Grab some paper and treat yourself to a new set of crayons or markers. We're going Hands-On! Color a square, then stare at the color on your page. Write down your impressions of that color. How does it make you feel? What do you think of? Does it take you to a memory? Is that memory happy, or troublesome?
What emotion(s) does the color invoke?
Soon you'll have your own cheat sheet of colors and what they mean to you. This will come in handy when selecting candles and/or gemstones for your workings, even the color of your table covering.
This is one of those topics where there is no right or wrong.
